DPW Snowplows Not Named Plowy McPlowface Visit Rye Schools
When the City of Rye was busy decking out its new DPW snowplows, it decided to allow each of the three elementary schools and Rye Middle and Rye High School to name one of the City’s snowplows. Sources tell MyRye.com that schools boss Eric Byrne lobbied heavily for one of the plows to be named Plowy McPlowface. No such luck.
On Wednesday, DPW rolled the newly named snow plow trucks to visit each of the five schools in Rye:
- Rye High School: Snowplow “Darth Blader”
- Rye Middle School: Snowplow “stoRMSweeper”
- Midland School: Snowplow “Bulldog Blizzard Buster”
- Milton School: Snowplow “Mr. McPlowerson”
- Osborn School: Snowplow “Ka-Plowy”
No salt was spread today – just a whole lot of sugar …
