Fire at 19 Franklin Avenue

There was a fire at 19 Franklin Avenue early Thursday morning, RyeFire.com has the details. There were no injuries:

"Rye firefighters were dispatched to an early morning basement fire at 19 Franklin Ave on Thursday morning. The call came in at 6:57 AM and Rye firefighters were quickly on scene. Engine 192 was first on the scene reporting smoke in the structure, followed by Ladder 25 transmitting the 10-75 (working fire). The fire displaced a family of 4 with most of the damage contained to the basement area. No injuries were reported and the fire was declared under control in about an hour and a half."
