Dear Mr. Compagnone and Mr. Sears,

On behalf of the Carver Center Board of Directors, staff, and especially the people who use our Food Pantry, I want to thank the Rye PBA and MyRye.com for organizing the “Super Bowl, Super Food” drive.  This drive was such a success, and I was so impressed with how much was collected!

The demand for the Food Pantry at Carver is high these days – we register new families on a weekly basis.  Your donation, therefore, is especially meaningful and will immediately assist us as we seek to meet the increased demand.  We know that the work we are doing in the Food Pantry is meeting a need, and we are grateful for your assistance in sustaining this important community resource.

Thank you for recognizing the importance of Carver in the community, and for giving so generously to support us.  Please extend my gratitude to everyone who was involved in this wonderful event – we are most appreciative of their support.  Carver Center could not thrive the way it does without the assistance of neighbors like you, and for that, we are so grateful.  Thank you for helping us “building brighter futures”.
