Boys Varsity Hockey Falls to Aquinas Institute of Rochester
Rye Boys Varsity Hockey fell to the Aquinas Institute of Rochester. Aquinas topped Rye 4-2 on Saturday at the Aquinas Saranac-Lake Placid Tournament.
“We got on the board first with a goal by Jackson Leahy and continued to generate shots but the Aquinas goalie played a strong game for them,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas.
Dempsey Brown had a goal and Tommy Richardson and Sean Draddy each had an assist. Brandon Morgan made 29 saves.
The Garnets are now 14-5. Varsity plays Carmel Wednesday at 6:15pm.
