Girls Varsity Softball Wins Season Finale, Heads to Playoffs
In the final game of the regular season, Rye Girls Varsity Softball came up with a 9–6 win over Nanuet High School. Rye improves to 11–8 on the season and looks ahead to the first game of the playoffs as the #10 seed.
Erin Ball pitched a complete game and contributed on offense as well, with an RBI at the plate. Some other standouts from the game included Penelope Gilmore (2 for 4 with 2 runs scored), Dylan Deertz (2 RBI), Ashley Kessner (2 RBI), and Millie Brooks (3 walks and 2 runs scored).

Rye takes on Pelham in the first round of the playoffs with a home game on Wednesday, May 17th.
