Overnight Shelter for Hurricane Irene at Port Chester High School, 1 Tamarack Rd, Rye Brook; Drop-in Temp Shelter at Whitby Castle

Because of the demands created by the impending storm, the Red Cross and Westchester County are operating consolidated regional shelters. In the event that residents require overnight shelter, it will be available at Port Chester High School, located at 1 Tamarack Road in Rye Brook. A temporary drop-in location will be set up at Whitby Castle (330 Boston Post Road) for residents seeking a place for temporary refuge; residents can call the Police Department at 967-1234 for further information on when that location will open.
