Every parent, teacher, coach, grandparent, and adult who interacts with adolescents and teens should be certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid: it’s like CPR but for mental wellness.
Join Rye Youth Council and RyeACT for this 1-day course to learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges in teens, approach and talk with a young person you’re concerned about, and connect that young person to appropriate care.
Two hours of pre-work and an in-person 6-hour course.
