Santa Installs Mail Box in Downtown Rye

Santa, wanting to make certain he can hear directly from the boys and girls of Rye, has installed a mailbox in downtown Rye. Chained to a stop signed in order to prevent any Grinch-like activity, children and their parents can find this direct to Santa express mailbox at the corner of Purchase Street and Elm Street.

In case parents are having a rough holiday season, the Santa mailbox is located just outside the Red Pony wine bar. No word if the proprietor Cai Palmer influenced Santa on the location of the mailbox. There are no records, site plans or approvals with Rye's planning commission.

Santa must get special treatment.
