Soldier Killed in Iraq Laid to Rest at Rye’s Greenwood Union Cemetery
A soldier killed in Iraq, allegedly by another American soldier, was laid to rest last Tuesday at Rye's Greenwood Union Cemetery. Private first class Gebrah P. Noonan of Waterbury served in the 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, according to the Republican American. Noonan was allegedly one of three soldiers shot by another soldier in Fallujah, Iraq after an argument. Two of the soldiers, including Noonan, died from the gun shot wounds.
