City to Solicitors: Beat It
Rye City, after citizen complaints about door-to-door solicitors, is going after these peddlers. The city is considering an 8pm curfew, requiring solicitors to register with the city and maintaining a "do not knock list" of residents that do not want to buy magazines and candy bars at night.
