Osborn Scare Fair is Saturday, Octover 27, 2018 from 10am – 3:30pm

The Osborn School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is gearing up for its annual “Scare Fair” Halloween Carnival and Silent Auction. The fun starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m., rain or shine, on Saturday, October 27th, at Osborn School, located at 10 Osborn Road in Rye. Families with special needs will have access to the Scare Fair beginning at 9:30 a.m. Parking is available along Osborn Road and Theall Road. Punch cards for rides, games and food can be purchased the day of the event.

Parents, teachers, staff and students welcome the entire community to take part in this family friendly event featuring rides and attractions for all ages, including:
• Ultimate survivor zip line obstacle course
• Inflatable fun house obstacle course
• Drown the clown game
• Wrecking ball inflatable
• Cake walk
• Many carnival-style games

For the first time ever, the Scare Fair will host a Spooky Sensory Zone. This room is designed for children with sensory sensitivities who may benefit from a quiet break from the fair’s activities.

Guests can purchase delicious snacks and lunch from the food trucks and other vendors including Longfords, Salsa Picante, Souvlaki Truck, The Melt, and Walter’s Hot Dogs. Additionally, guests can sample an international array of food and beverages prepared and sold by Osborn families.

At the popular Silent Auction, members of the public can bid online for many one-of-a-kind items, including sought-after sporting event tickets and memorabilia, luxury spa treatments, getaways to beautiful vacation homes, and much more. Online bidding registration is available in the Silent Auction room. The auction closes promptly at 3:30 p.m.

The Scare Fair is Osborn School’s primary fundraiser. It supports critical technology, curriculum, enrichment and arts programs at the school.
