Mural Project at Rye Town Park
Sculptor and mural artist Sarah Coble is nearing completion of the first panel of a mural project at Rye Town Park. Ms. Coble is a resident of Mamaroneck and art teacher at the Hackley School in Tarrytown.

Developed in conjunction with the Park’s 100th anniversary celebrations in 2009, the project will eventually include 3-5 large murals with themes of folktales and local history. The murals will be mounted on the panels of the brick wall that separates the waterfront and pavilions from the parking area. The Clay Tiles Mural Project is being co-sponsored by Arts Westchester and the Town of Rye, in cooperation with the Clay Art Center of Port Chester.
