Just one day after the release of their newest CD, “Collective Soul (Rabbit),” the band will play at Playland Park tonight, Wednesday, August 26, at 8 p.m. The concert is free with paid Playland admission.
Collective Soul shot to international fame with their 1993 release Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid, and their #1 hit “Shine.” Follow-up albums produced a string of hits, double- and triple-platinum sales and success across the alternative and mainstream rock markets. The single “Tremble for My Beloved” found Collective Soul on the soundtrack to one of the hottest movies of 2008 –Twilight, which opened up a whole new audience for the band.
