Community Celebrates Claire Gormley’s Life with Vigil and Bike Ride

Members of the Rye Community gathered for a vigil and bike ride at Claire's Climb in remembrance of Claire Gormley Collier, a married mother of three passed away this past Monday, May 4th at the age of 46 after a 5 year struggle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Claire's brother, Rye resident Phil Gormley, has raised over $1,000,000 a year for various organizations, including Friends of Claire, an organization committed to raising awareness, funding research, and changing policy for ALS.
