The Rye Varsity Field Hockey Team put up another big performance on Monday evening, dominating the Scarsdale Raiders 6-0 to improve to 6-1 on the year.

“We came out a little flat, but the girls were able to turn it around throughout the game, and finished strong,” Assistant Coach Theresa Jelalain told MyRye.com after the game. Sky-high expectations must be considered when learning of the Garnet’s ‘slow start,’ as they quickly put that behind them and scored six times to clinch the win.

Rye (6-1) travels to John Jay to take on the Wolves on Wednesday, September 25 in their next game. The first face-off is scheduled for 6:30pm – watch it here.
