Rye Girls Soccer traveled to Glover field on Tuesday evening to take on Pelham, and came away with a 3-0 clean sheet victory. Rye’s stellar offense was on display once again and propelled the Garnets to their eighth win of 2024, more than any other team at the school up to this point.

Charlotte Keenan netted two goals for the Garnets in another strong performance, while rookie freshman Hannah Jachman added the third. Mary Sack, Lyla Keenan and Bowyn Brown had the assists for Rye. L. Keenan and Brown seem to be in the assist column nearly every game for Head Coach Rich Savage and his team.

Rye’s defensive play of Claire Nemsick, Ava Cross, Reese Lejuez kept the Pelicans out of the box for the most part and off the scoreboard entirely. Goalkeeper Tessa Labowitz played the full game and did not let one past her for the shutout.

The undefeated Garnets (8-0-1) will host the Harrison Huskies on Thursday afternoon as they look to keep the good times rolling. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00pm at Nugent Stadium. Watch it here.
