RESULTS: Council Too Early to Call; Otis and Mayer with Decisive Leads in State Races

Rye local races as of 10:00pm Tuesday evening:

The Rye City Council race between Democrat James Ward and Republican Rick McCabe to too close and too early to call – only two of 14 districts are reporting. McCabe dropped out of the race due for personal reasons but his name remained on the ballot.

Both State races show the Democratic incumbents with decisive leads:

State Assemblyman Steve Otis is showing 61% versus 39% for his challenger, Republican Katie Manger.

Otis told MyRye.com “I appreciate the strong support of the voters of the Sound Shore communities I serve and am excited to continue breaking new ground to win results for schools, local governments, and families and provide leadership on the statewide issues of importance where I have made a difference for Westchester.”
