The Rye FD’s Local 2029 union made the rounds with Santa Claus on Sunday, December 15, 2024 as part of its annual Candy Cane Run. FD members escorted Santa and some of his elves across the City of Rye. Between 4pm and 6pm the caravan made stops at Milton School, Rye Recreation, Highland Hall, Osborn School, John Jay Place and Rye Town Park.
