Linda Mayers Black Olmstead of Port Chester, New York passed away on January 3, 2026.Linda, born May 19, 1958, was the beloved daughter of Annabelle Mayers, Hamden, CT and the late Robert A. Mayers, MD.
She was predeceased by her second husband, Christopher Olmstead.
Linda is survived by her former husband Gary Black of Rye, NY and her two sons, Jason Black (Meredith), Katonah, NY and Sean Black (Mary) Rye, NY. She had seven wonderful grandchildren: Adelaide, Bennett, Celia, Lily, Kathryn, Annie and Nora. Linda is also survived by three loving sisters: Susan Tupper, Lake Bluff, IL, Terri Corsa, Larchmont, NY, and Nancy Mayers Furnas, Hamden, CT, as well as nieces and nephews and close friends.
Linda was a graduate of Rye High School.
May she finally rest in peace.
The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home on Friday January 9, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection.
