The Rye Girls Basketball team picked up a win on senior night on Friday, January 30, as they took down Eastchester 54-32 at home. The Garnets celebrated the five players in the class of 2026 in their second victory over the Eagles of the season.
The five seniors who were celebrated prior to the first quarter tip-off were: Paige Tepedino, Valeria Medina, Annie Toulouse, Arabella Roberts, and Phoebe Greto. Those five veterans have paved the way for Rye this season en route to their 14-2 record through 16 games, much of which can be credited to strong leadership and solid locker room camaraderie.
Greto led all seniors with nine points in the victory. Other notable scorers on the night were Charlotte Storz with 14 points, Stella Maresca with 11, and Frankie Chiaravalle with nine.
Rye (14-2) travels to Yorktown for their next game on Monday, February 2. The game begins at 5:00pm on the road. Watch senior night highlights here.
