Much Ado About Nothing | Shakespeare for Kids

This delightful 30-minute, interactive adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing is thoughtfully designed for young audiences in grades K–5 and their families. Created by the 2026 Apprentice Company, the production brings one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies to life through witty banter, playful hijinks, and spirited storytelling that is both accessible and engaging.

This interactive performance will have your children quoting Shakespeare without them even realizing it. Shakespeare on the Sound seamlessly combines the Bard’s original text with everyday language in a fun and inventive way. And when we say kids, we mean kids of all ages—from 5 to 95. All are welcome and encouraged!
