The Rye Arts Center (RAC) will hold its 20th annual Ladies Comedy Night on Wednesday, November 5, 2026, at the Community Synagogue of Rye. Ladies Comedy Night is one of The Rye Arts Center’s signature fundraising events, with proceeds directly funding scholarships that ensure no child in the community is turned away from arts education for financial reasons. Last year the event drew over 300 people and more than $50,000 was raised for the RAC.

“You have women from their 20s to their 90s coming together across generations to laugh, connect, and support one another, all while raising critical funds to ensure the arts remain accessible to everyone in our community,” said Alli West, director of development at The Rye Arts Center.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for a Sushi & Sip Happy Hour, alongside a luxury raffle table stocked with prizes . The comedy show begins at 7:30 p.m., hosted by stand-up comedian and radio and podcast personality Kim Berns, who returns to emcee four comedians for a notoriously sold-out crowd.

Tickets are for sale online for $195.

This Year’s Lineup:

  • Kim Berns (host): Local legend, humorist, stand-up comic, writer and producer of comedy shows and charity events. Kim is the radio and podcast host of “What’s the Story” and “UnPaused,” and previously hosted “Anything Goes” for seven years. She has performed nationwide at The Comic Strip Live, Eastville, The Stand, West Side Comedy Club, and the Broadway Comedy Club, as well as at the Emelin Theater, Mohegan Sun Casino’s Comix Roadhouse, and The GUKO Comedy Club in Paris, France.
  • Ellen P. Feeney: A former lawyer turned stand-up comedian and writer in New York City, entertaining audiences about current events, quitting corporate America, dating and escaping Connecticut. A New York Comedy Festival 2025 performer and winner of the Laughing Buddha Comedy Competition (2025).
  • Mallory Morgan: A New York City–based stand-up comedian and content creator known for broadcasting her romantic trauma and late-twenties existential dread to hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok and Instagram, turning oversharing into an art form.
  • Stephanie Blum: A former school psychologist and street-smart Brooklyn native who unapologetically rips into marriage, parenting, and life. She’s appeared on HBO Comedy Minutes, Discovery Family Channel’s Babies Behaving Badly, and CMT’s All Time Funniest Videos, and has performed at clubs, casinos, and cruise lines nationwide.
