New Granola Bar of Rye to Open at 96 Purchase Street by Early Summer 2017

The Granola Bar Restaurant Group, operators of The Granola Bar, will open a location at 96 Purchase Street, next to Fogama, by early summer.
The concern already has Greenwich and Westport and describes itself as "a healthy and indulgent all day breakfast and lunch café" and plans to hire 15 staff for the location, according to marketing manager Nicole Muto. Asked why the company chose Rye, Muto told MyRye.com "Rye has a lot of the same characteristics as Westport, our first location, with a tight knit, family focused community. We’ve also gotten a lot of requests for Rye from customers that travel all the way to Greenwich for us. We feel a real sense of belonging in the community!"
The Granola Bar's all day breakfast and lunch includes "freshly made eggs, avocado toast, sandwiches and wraps, salads, parfaits and, of course, granola. Add to that artisanal coffee, signature smoothies and an array of baked goods"
The chain was founded in Westport, Connecticut in 2013 by Julie Mountain and Dana Noorily,
