September 14, 2021 Board of Education Meeting The Rye City School District Board of Education will meet Tuesday, September 14, 2021 beginning at 7:30 P.M. in the Rye Middle School Multipurpose Room, 3 Parsons Street, Rye, New York 10580. On the agenda are fiscal, special education, personnel and business items that ordinarily come before the Board. The Board of Education will continue to meet in-person despite the reinstatement of the Executive Order allowing for virtual meetings. Members of the public are welcome to attend in-person or view via live streaming. Opportunity for public comment will be only available for those in attendance at the meeting during the designated time. All visitors to the schools must wear a mask and maintain social distance upon arriving at Board of Education meetings. The meetings will be live streamed via YouTube for viewing purposes only. The following livestream link will be available to view the meeting: https://youtu.be/PwJ1Ri0bUUE Prior to the meeting, members of The Rye City School District Board of Education and Central Office Administrators will be touring two elementary schools: The tours will be held at the following locations and times: Milton Elementary School beginning at 6:00 p.m. Midland Elementary School beginning at 6:30 p.m. After completion of the tour, beginning at approximately 7:00 p.m., it is anticipated that the Board will meet in Executive Session for the review of the employment history of current and prospective employees, negotiations pursuant to the Taylor Law, review of current litigation and litigation strategy.
