July 7, 2021 and July 8, 2021 Board of Education Annual Planning Meetings And Re-Organization Meeting followed immediately by a Special Board Meeting The Rye City School District Board of Education will hold its annual planning meetings on Wednesday July 7, 2021 and Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Wainwright House, 260 Stuyvesant Avenue, Rye, NY. The annual re-organization meeting and Special Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Wainwright House, 260 Stuyvesant Avenue, Rye, NY. On Wednesday July 7, 2021 beginning at 10:00 A.M., immediately after the annual planning meeting is called to order, the Board will adjourn into Executive Session to discuss the employment history of current and prospective employees, negotiations pursuant to the Taylor Law, review of current litigation and litigation strategy. The Board will discuss its way of work, set goals for the coming school year, and discuss priorities for the 2021-2022 school year. At approximately 6:30 P.M., it is anticipated the Board will adjourn the meeting. Beginning at 7:00 P.M., the Board will reconvene to conduct its 2021-2022 Annual Re-Organization Meeting. This meeting will begin with the election of the Board of Education President and Vice President for the 2021-2022 school year. On the agenda are fiscal, special education, personnel and business items that ordinarily come before the Board. Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting of the Board and to speak at designated times.
