Building Rye Landmarks: LEGO Workshop with Rye Historical Society
February 10 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
$65.87The Rye Historical Society is thrilled to present a Building Blocks Workshop on Saturday, February 10th. Join us for this second annual creative adventure facilitated by architect Stephen Schwartz, where families can come together to recreate iconic Rye landmarks using 60,000 LEGO building blocks.
Families are invited to select a Rye building photo and bring it to life as a LEGO model, placing it on our expansive 30 x 20-foot map of our City. Your model will incorporate the intricate architectural elements that define Rye’s unique charm. This event is suitable for students in grades 3 and up, with a maximum of four participants per group, including at least one adult.
Get ready to unleash your creativity and construct amazing LEGO structures inspired by Rye’s iconic buildings. Dive into the fascinating worlds of architecture, engineering, and history while having a blast alongside fellow LEGO enthusiasts. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to build, learn, and have fun!
We’re limiting participation to just 50 families for this action-packed two-hour event, which will be held at Rye Middle School Gym.
