Coding Camp Grades 3-5: Create Your Own Maze with Kodable
July 30, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
.DO BEFORE CLASS! Using some of the things we learned together last week, we will be building our own mazes in Kodable. Learn how to use sequence, conditions, loops, and functions to make your maze. Prepare your maze (or mazes!) at home. When we meet in class, we will share our creations and play each other’s mazes! **Attending this event will earn you points in our Summer Reading Program!** This is part of a 6 week Coding Camp we will be offering at the library. No prior knowledge or experience with coding is required. Attendees are not obligated to attend all 6 sessions, please sign up for each week separately. This program has been developed for children entering grades 3-5 in September 2020. Register with an email you check regularly to receive the Zoom link and important information to prepare you for the class! Coding Camp activites have been cultivated with resources from Hour of Code. The ‘Hour of Code™’ is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming.
