Gingerbread Showcase Kickoff Celebration

Be part of a sweet moment in Rye history as Mayor Josh Cohn proclaims the Official Cookie of Rye: the Chocolate Rye Cookie, a “cookie with a cause” created by Culinary Instructor Melanie Underwood of Nourish & Gather. This special cookie supports pediatric cancer research through Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, turning every bite into something truly meaningful.

Enjoy complimentary samples of the Official Cookie of Rye, along with hot cocoa and seasonal refreshments, while cheerful holiday music fills the house and the magic of the season comes alive.

Guests can also look forward to a raffle for one lucky attendee to win a FinaMill Spice Grinder Gift Set – A company whose generosity toward Cookies for Kids’ Cancer helped inspire the creation of the Chocolate Rye Cookie itself.

All are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to support Feeding Westchester, helping nourish neighbors in need this holiday season.
