The annual Miles for MOMS race will take place on Sunday, October 15 at 8:30am and proceeds from this year’s race will help us put 120,000 pounds of food on the tables of families in need this holiday season.

Meals on Main Street (MOMS) is a Port Chester-based food hub working to end food insecurity in Port Chester, and throughout Westchester.

The race will start and end at the COLONY GRILL parking lot, where there will be food provided by Colony Grill, Neri’s Bakery, and Bona Bona Ice Cream, as well as music provided by The Peak 107.1 favorite Chris Rodriguez (aka Coach).

This year’s race will feature:

— The new 5k (3.11mi) “City Route” will be traveling on the roads in and around downtown Port Chester. Thanks to the cooperation and support of our Port Chester Police Department, runners will be moving safely through the neighborhoods and cheered on by residents. Course map: https://www.mappedometer.com/

— Untimed 1.5 mile family-friendly run & walk is a perfectly flat, out and back route. It will take you on Main Street to the turn around at the Meals on Main building. You can easily push a baby stroller (little tykes in the stroller are free!).

— NEW this year is our FREE kids 50+ yard scamper for 7 yrs old and under at 8:15am

— Overall male & female 5K champions and top finishers will receive Colony Grill gift cards

— At the Finish Line, you’ll enjoy our celebration with music, food, raffle and a coupon for a free beer inside Colony Grill (21+ only, expires 10/21)

— Our wonderful food sponsors include: Neri’s famous baked goods and sweets; Bona Bona ice cream scoops; and of course from our host – their famous ‘bar pie’ – Colony Grill pizza

— The Capitol Theatre and The Peak 107.1, also race sponsors, will be onsite with music and fun prizes.
