Minding Your Memory: How to Stay Sharp for Life

Do you struggle with your memory from time to time? Are you concerned about Alzheimer’s disease or cognitive decline as you age?

Join us for an engaging and informative evening exploring the underlying causes of memory loss, current research and testing, and—most importantly—the steps you can take now to support brain health and stay sharp for life. Board-certified Health and Wellness Coaches Lisa Feiner and Nancy Weiser will share practical, science-backed strategies for maintaining cognitive health over the long term. This interactive presentation will include opportunities for questions and discussion.

Lisa Feiner is the founder of the Westchester-based nonprofit Sharp Again and the co-editor (with Steve Ledvina) of the book Minding Your Memory: What You Can Do Now to Prevent Dementia and Stay Sharp for Life, which will be available for purchase at the event.

Presenter Bios
Lisa Feiner, MBA, M.Ed., NBC-HWC
Lisa is a board-certified Health and Wellness Coach, Brain Longevity Specialist, and co-founder of the nonprofit Sharp Again. She is also trained ReCODE 2.0 coach, working with individuals to prevent and treat Alzheimer’s. Her knowledge and volunteer experience with elders in the local community led her to appreciate that memory loss and Alzheimer’s was not random but had specific causes.

Over the past 25 years, Lisa has worked with clients on the lifestyle issues that impact brain health and overall wellbeing, resulting in a more balanced and fulfilling life. She speaks locally and nationally to diverse audiences so that individuals, family members and caregivers know how to keep their brains healthy. Lisa writes on a variety of topics and is interviewed on podcasts, radio and TV.

Nancy Weiser, MBA, NBC-HWC
Nancy is a board-certified health and wellness coach, and a has recently become certified as a ReCODE 2.0 Coach specializing in cognitive health and Alzheimer’s prevention. For more than 20 years, Nancy’s holistic approach to health and chronic disease prevention combines practical, life-changing nutritional practices with guidance and support relating to exercise, stress management, and lifestyle. Nancy is passionate about understanding our individual, modifiable causes of Alzheimer’s disease and how addressing each cause can mean a healthy brain for the long term. Nancy has been featured in The New York Times, has made multiple appearances on Martha Stewart Living Radio, and is a featured speaker in the documentary Bought. She speaks to varied audiences including corporate, medical, parent, philanthropic, community and senior groups.
