Native American Program – 4th Graders

October 1, 2020 @ 11:15 am - 12:15 pm

$20

Travel back in time at the Timothy Knapp House!

This outdoor Social Studies program is designed to help students think about life long ago, when the Algonquian people lived in what we now call Rye.

We will investigate natural resources and consider how Native Americans lived off the land. We will also discuss the importance of storytelling for Native Americans and all cultures, and will think about the link between natural resources, ways of life and culture.

This program meets the fourth grade Social Studies standards but is appropriate for students in grades 3-5.
