Native Plant Weekend @ Rosedale Nurseries
The ever popular Native Plant Weekend at Rosedale Nurseries returns for the 17th season September 12 & 13, 9 am-5:30 pm. Shop a wide selection of plants, take part in free workshops, and support The Native Plant Center. The nursery is located at 51 Saw Mill River Road (Rte. 9A), Hawthorne, NY.
Thousands of native plants will be in stock. Native-plant knowledgeable “personal shoppers” will be on hand to help you select wonderful plants for your garden. Free talks on native plant topics will be held each day at 11 am and 2 pm.
Saturday, September 12
- 11 a.m.: Creating a Succession of Blooms in the Native Garden, Kim Eierman
- 2 p.m.: Native Plants to Support Birds, Karalyn Lamb
Sunday, September 13
- 11 a.m.: Problem Solving with Native Shrubs, Cathy Ludden
- 2 p.m.: Native Perennials for Fall, Dawn Orza
