Parent University: Cracking the Reading Code: Supporting Readers with Decoding and Fluency Across Gr

Description: Decoding, or translating printed words into speech, is a crucial skill that most readers develop between Kindergarten and Second Grade through explicit phonics instruction. In this session, we will share what students are learning in school, as well as tips you can use at home to help your readers “crack the code” to reading, whether they’re in K-2 or the upper elementary grades.
