Rooted: Community Class | Inner Stillness, Outer Connection

February 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free – $20

Part of our community series giving back through mindfulness, movement, and connection – Rooted: Community Class is a special series created to thank our Wainwright House members and community. Each session features different board members and expert practitioners offering their skills to support wellbeing and presence. Across the series, you’ll experience mindfulness, breathwork, yoga, Pilates, and other practices designed to settle the mind, reset the body, and cultivate balance.

February 25th – Inner Stillness, Outer Connection

In this session, Dr. William Meyer will guide us through practices exploring how breath, attention, and the nervous system work together to cultivate calm and clarity. Through guided exercises and simple research-informed techniques, participants will learn strategies to settle the mind, reset stress responses, and expand their capacity for grounded presence in daily life.

Dr. Meyer is an educator, writer, and meditation teacher whose work bridges contemplative practices with modern learning and wellbeing. He has led workshops and retreats for teens, educators, and families, and is the author of several books on mindfulness for young people. His approach blends breathwork, visualization, and quietly transformative inner practices rooted in compassion and presence.

Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike
