RFE proudly invites you to join all 5 schools in the Rye City School District to view the once every-50-years Solar Eclipse on Monday April 8th, 2024 from 3:15pm to 3:30pm. RFE has purchased 4,000 Solar Eclipse viewing glasses for each student and staff member across all 5 schools. Parents, caretakers, and siblings are welcome to join their students to view the Eclipse at their school after pick up. Please note there will be no adult supervision and parents should plan to attend with their students.

A huge thank you to Ms. Katrina Smith, RHS/RMS Science Department Coordinator and 6th Grade Science Teacher, for leading this district wide event. She identified this special event and had the vision to apply for an RFE grant for the viewing glasses.

VIEWING LOCATIONS ACROSS SCHOOL CAMPUSES
RHS / RMS – please have your student gather at Nugent Stadium
Midland – please bring your student to the north playground fields
Milton – please bring your student to the back fields
Osborn – please bring your student to the large fields (soccer + baseball fields) past the playground
