Teen Intersectionality Book Club

.The Teen Intersectionality Book Group is a new teen book group being co-run by members of our TAB. Its topical focus is on social justice and current events. Join us for our first book selection: The 57 Bus.This multi-award winning book (highlights include the Stonewall Book Award, and The Coretta Scott King Award) “journalist Dashka Slater chronicles the true story of an agender teen who is set on fire while riding a bus and the painful repercussions for both the teens involved and their communities. Issues of gender identity, race and class division and the complexity of the justice system are addressed with clarity and thoughtfulness.” – ALAJoin us on Zoom to discuss this book!
