About the Event
This 6-week yoga and mindfulness meditation workshop is geared to students grades k-2.
Through games, art activities and exercises, your child will learn tools and techniques to:
• Reduce stress
• Increase focus and deep concentration
• Develop skills to cope with frustration
• Increase one’s ability to feel compassion, empathy and gratitude
• Reflect on their own thoughts and actions and to make better choices.
This 6-week series will be taught by Jennifer Monness, founder of The Meditation Lab, on Wednesdays from 12:15 to 1:15pm starting November 18th and ending on December 23rd.
