If Rye City Manager Scott Pickup was dreaming Santa would bring him a white Mercedes under the Christmas tree his dream came true.
Only his dream was a bit of a nightmare.
It turns out it was Pickup's home that received the unwanted gift – the white Mercedes that careened into the living room of Pickup's Rye home on Osborn Road.
