The folks at The Thrift Shop at Rye Presbyterian Church (882 Boston Post Road) will hold a giant spring sale this Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 9am to 1pm.
Shoppers will find items, priced to sell, including jewelry, china, silver, lamps, frames, linens, housewares, toys, puzzles, books, collectibles, and easy-to-transport furniture. All proceeds go to local nonprofit groups that help women, children, and the elderly. Run by volunteers, the Thrift Shop is also open most Thursdays, from 10am to 1pm, September through June. Entrance is at the side and back of church (Parsons St. and Milton Rd.).
The church is always looking for donations. So if you have the above type of items, please drop them off at the church any time it is open (9-5pm weekdays, 9-12pm weekends), at the top of the stairs opposite the reception area. Questions, email Cindy Kuster at CKuster@aol.com.
