COVID Case at Rye Middle School

On Monday morning, the Rye school district announced a COVID case at the Rye Middle School.

Dear RMS Families, Faculty and Staff,

The District was informed today that an individual at RMS has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual is currently in quarantine and was last at the school on Friday, December 11.  Due to federal health privacy laws, additional information about the individual cannot be released. There is no need for any additional school-related contact tracing or quarantining associated with this new case.

Please be assured that we will continue to do everything in our power to keep the Rye Middle School community safe.
