MyRye.com: What do you do?

Kenney: Supervisory Senior Resident Agent. I am the senior supervisor in charge of the FBI’s Westchester Resident Agency located in Rye. The Westchester RA has five separate squads and approximately 100 employees. I directly supervise the Safe Streets Task Force which investigates violent crime, violent gangs, transnational drug trafficking organizations and crimes against children matters in Westchester, Putnam and Rockland Counties.

Where do you work?

Kenney: My office is located on Midland Avenue but I routinely work in the field throughout New York City, Westchester Putnam and Rockland Counties conducting interviews, making arrests, executing search warrants and meeting with law enforcement partners.

Describe your desk and office.

My office is located within my squad area, which houses over 30 special agents, task force officers and professional support staff. I have a television on my wall to monitor current events and a police radio on my desk so I can monitor local police communications. I also have pictures of my family and awards and plaques from partner agencies. I also keep a Hollywood style mask on my desk which was used by a bank robber to disguise himself.
