There won’t be any more bumps in the road if you are headed to On the Way Cafe or Playland Market just across the entrance to Rye Playland.
Rye guy and County Executive George Latimer, who lives in the neighborhood, saw the parking area was in “terrible shape”. “I wasn’t originally sure [the parking lot was County property] but we checked it out and it was us. So we do the immediate fix and plan to do the full treatment thereafter,” Latimer told MyRye.com.
Always helpful to have the top guy in the neighborhood. Hugh J. Greechan, the County’s Commissioner of the Department of Public Works and Transportation, also lives in the neighborhood.
