Boys Varsity Hockey Diced by Pelham, Ends Season After Great Run

Rye Boys Varsity Hockey was diced by the Pelham Pelicans on Sunday. The typical Garnet polish fell short and the Pelican flew off with the post-season victory 6-4, ending a gem of a season for the team (15-7).

“It was a hard fought game against a good opponent,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Peter Thomas. “We traded leads throughout the game and at the end, they always seemed to answer us. I’m proud of how our team played and competed all season long. We are losing some great seniors who will be deeply missed.”
