Rye Boys Varsity Football turned the talons back onto the Red Hawks of Nyack on Friday night with a 33 – 18 win at Nugent Stadium and advance in postseason play.
“Continuing the excellent execution of the past several games, the Garnets took a 33-0 lead against the Nyack River Hawks in the first half,” said Rye Boys Varsity Football Coach Dino Garr. “Our passing game was clicking, with 2 touchdowns from AJ Miller to Jake Kessner, and the Defense did a great job turning the ball over to the Offense. We’ll need to have this level of performance in our upcoming semi-final game next Friday at Rye.”
