All Rye City Schools will be on a two hour delay for Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
The Rye City School District made the announcement Monday evening due to the expected snow and ice overnight “potentially resulting in hazardous road conditions in the early morning hours”.
As of Monday evening, the forecast shows anywhere between 2 – 4 inches of snow as well as some ice accumulation. Rye PD is discouraging residents from driving if possible. Residents are responsible for clearing sidewalks within 24 hours of the end of the storm.
