MyRye.com is off this week, but wanted to let you know about a chance to buy some gently used children's books and help a good cause.
From 4pm to 8pm today (Thursday, September 3rd) at 140 Florence Avenue (off Park Avenue) there will be a used children's book sale. Run by Sole Ryeders & Friends, the sale is raising money to pay for Gilda's Club Westchester to train Rye school faculty in ways to help children who are, directly or indirectly, affected by cancer, other serious illnesses, and/or death & dying.
The sale is attempting to raise $500 towards the total program cost of $2,000.
