Flood Workshop by Rye Nature Center Tuesday 7:30pm (12/08/2009)
The director of the Rye Nature Center Christine Siller told MyRye.com they will host a free flood workshop at 7:30pm this Tuesday evening (Decemeber 12, 2009). A panel of watershed experts and homeowners will discuss how changes to your property can impact flooding. The RNC also produced a video that demonstrates some of the techniques a homeowner can take such as using rain barrels, rain gardens, and pervious surfaces on their properties.
