Booyah!
As the demo continued on the MyRye.com House, we found this beauty – green and white linoleum tile under the carpet of one of the boys rooms.
We also found a “PC” (pre-Cablevision) relic: a huge television house antenna in the crawl space of our upper roof.
Look at MyRye.com’s album of the MyRye.com House on Day 5 after most of the interior demolition and a second MyRye.com House album during a night visit where you can see the framing for the new playroom concrete footings.
Up next time: we pour the cement footings.
1950’s you say? Better check that linoleum tile. A lot of tile made back then contained asbestos 🙁
