Square House Meeting—Items on the Agenda for City Council Wednesday – May 5, 2010
The city council's agenda for May 5, 2010 is out. See you at 8pm at the Square House. Every Spring the council holds one meeting at the Square House to acknowledge the historical importance of the Square House to both Rye and American history. Typically many local dignitaries turn out for this special event.
The meeting will be preceded by a Mayor’s Roundtable at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will move from the Square House to Council Chambers in City Hall at approximately 8:45 p.m. It is anticipated that the Council will adjourn into Executive Session following the meeting to discuss personnel matters.
We are unsure if the annual Square House portion of the meeting will be televised but you can certainly see the remainder on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We'll also see you on the Internet (next day) at https://rye.peg.tv.
Let's check the batting order and highlights from the 18 agenda items.
- Open Mic. Residents may be heard who have matters to discuss that do not appear on the agenda. Always a crowd pleaser…
