On Monday after Jets head coach Rex Ryan flew down to South Florida to meet with Darrelle Revis, the All-Pro cornerback came away with a four year $46 million deal. Thirty-two million of the $46 million is guaranteed.

After signing ex-Chargers corner Antonio Cromartie and drafting Kyle Wilson out of Boise State going into Sunday night, it looked like in week one against the Baltimore Ravens that these two would be the Jets' starting corners.

After shutting down some of the games best wideouts in 2009, Revis set out to be the highest paid corner in the game and succeeded. Going into week one against a new and improved Ravens offense, Revis will be depended on to shut down Anquan Boldin – the Ravens best pick-up in the off-season.  On a Jets team that expects a Super Bowl win, Revis needs to respond well after missing training camp and the pre-season to pick up a win in Baltimore.
